ScrapFit Blog Challenge

So this challenge called for a layout focusing on  numbers.  I decided to do Todd's 4th Birthday Party.  In this picture he is blowing out his candles.  This will always be a special birthday for us as it was our first birthday together.  I used this cute paper from Jilliebean Soup "Spotted Owl " I just loved this paper when I saw it.  I focused on the Number four on the paper backing the photo.  

My Scraps and More got talent!

You were suppose to use papers that really did not go together.  I used this hibiscus paper with this orange reflective paper.

New Look on the Blog

So you will notice I have finally got the blog looking like I want it.  So now I can get back to scrapbooking. Yippee!! Living in my new scrapbook room is sweet; so much space I can easily find everything.  Now that it is all organized and labeled.

And the best part is sharing it with my mom.  She has the other half of the room and we laugh and run ideas by each other.  What a blessing to live close enough to each other to share all this quality time together.  We are looking forward to the big expo in Atlanta in July.  I have been saving pennies to go to shopping.  Well share some of your scrapbook rooms.  How do you store your supplies?

Cricut 360 Design Team Call

So I have been really interested on joining a design team for awhile,  but never felt like I had the time or was organized enough.  Now that I have my new scrapbook room and everything is in it's place I am ready to give it a shot.  So I decided to submit for Cricut 360 Design Team.  They asked for our entry to be a card or a a layout with Lime Green and a Bug in it.  And you have to work with any of the cricut machines.  So here is what I put together.

Please join us for 8 fun weeks of challenges and games, looking for the first "My Scraps" talent star! Starting June 3rd, and each Friday thereafter, a challenge will be issued. You will have until the following Thursday at midnight eastern time, to upload your challenge into the appropriate thread on the forum to continue on in the My Scraps talent search. At the end of the eight weeks, A My Scraps and More Talent star will be rewarded with a box of scrap goodies for sharing their talents! Along with the grand prize winner, someone will be randomly chosen each week among the participants of the challenge, to win a prize as well!

The first challenge will be issued June 3rd and the last one will be issued on July 29th. (we will take a week break from July 22nd-28th) My Scraps & More's talent star will be announced on August 5th!!

This is a non-elimination contest. All are invited and WELCOME to play! There is no right or wrong way to scrapbook. As long as you are recording your memories for years to enjoy, that is all that matters!! I look forward to be inspired by all of your talent!!
